Step by step

How to buy property in Dubai in 5 steps

  1. Set your budget

Decide between cash and a mortgage, and keep 7–10% of the price aside for buying costs.

  2. Choose the area

We match your goals with the right communities and shortlist ready and off-plan homes. See the best areas to buy.

  3. View & make an offer

We arrange viewings, check the details and negotiate the best price for you.

  4. Sign the agreement

For resale homes you sign a sale agreement (Form F) and pay a deposit, usually 10%. For off-plan you sign the developer’s sale and purchase agreement.

  5. Transfer & title deed

The sale completes at a Dubai Land Department trustee office (ready) or is registered on Oqood (off-plan), and the title deed is issued in your name.
